Settings ribbon
The translation editor's Settings tab opens Shortcuts for key assignments and Advanced for editor preferences.

Shortcuts
Choose Shortcuts to inspect and maintain key assignments. The applicable page and command matter: the same key can have different meanings in translation and termbase workspaces.
You can also right-click supported command buttons to edit their assignments directly. Read Keyboard shortcuts for searching commands, conflicts, and saving a change.
Advanced
Open Advanced and search the settings or browse their sections:
| Area | What to look for |
|---|---|
| Display | Suggestions visibility, formatting colors, Status Bar, and caret display |
| Segments Menu | Toolbar visibility, row layout, and command filtering |
| Fuzzy matches | AI adaptation of similar memory matches and automatic insertion |
| Suggestions | Automatic translation/review suggestions, confirmation after complete preview-row acceptance, background suggestions, and Intellisense |
| Workspace tools | Index preparation before file translation, target-language suffixes in export filenames, and Shortcuts Visualizer |
To recover a hidden segment toolbar, open the Segment menu section and choose its show setting. Use the toolbar's own gear afterward to choose which buttons appear. View also exposes several common display and toolbar-layout controls directly.
Automatic suggestions and confirmation
Automatic confirmation applies to complete preview rows
For example, Confirm segment after applying all row changes requests confirmation when applying a complete preview row. It does not make every isolated word-level acceptance a confirmation action. Editor preferences explains every active option and its effect.
A disabled assistance setting can reflect service availability or exhausted allowance. Read its explanation and the relevant guide instead of changing unrelated preferences.
Find account and resource settings
General preferences, working languages, integrations, account details, abbreviations, and stopwords have their own pages in the main navigation. Settings and account maps those areas.
Alignment's Settings ribbon has a different purpose: it opens its alignment Anchors choices. See Other workspace ribbons.
