Filters for match scores

Open Filters in the translation table toolbar and find the Match section. Clear Search filters to see the complete menu, then scroll to this section. That search field only narrows the menu items; choosing a filter changes the document rows.

Each image below shows the individual filter enabled, with its blue icon. Click the condition again to exclude it, and once more to turn it off. See the three filter states and Filter Settings for how these conditions differ from source and target text searches. Other active conditions and searches still apply.

Choose preset bands or a custom range

Several enabled fuzzy-band buttons include their bands together. Red bands remove their scores. When any preset band is active, those buttons determine score selection; the custom Match range is used when the preset bands are inactive.

Fuzzy 70%

Fuzzy 70% enabled in the Filters menu.

Shows segments with a stored match score from 70% up to, but not including, 80%.

When to use it: Review this reuse band separately when planning how much adaptation a target may need. A match score is not a measure of translation quality.

Example: A 75% segment is included; a 80% segment is not. Several enabled fuzzy-band buttons include their bands together.

Red: Exclude fuzzy 70%. Removes scores from 70% up to, but not including, 80%. For example, a 75% row is excluded while an 85% row can remain. Use it to leave this band for a separate review.

Fuzzy 80%

Fuzzy 80% enabled in the Filters menu.

Shows segments with a stored match score from 80% up to, but not including, 90%.

When to use it: Review this reuse band separately when planning how much adaptation a target may need. A match score is not a measure of translation quality.

Example: A 85% segment is included; a 90% segment is not. Several enabled fuzzy-band buttons include their bands together.

Red: Exclude fuzzy 80%. Removes scores from 80% up to, but not including, 90%. For example, an 85% row is excluded while a 95% row can remain. Other active band choices still determine the result.

Fuzzy 90%

Fuzzy 90% enabled in the Filters menu.

Shows segments with a stored match score from 90% up to, but not including, 100%.

When to use it: Review this reuse band separately when planning how much adaptation a target may need. A match score is not a measure of translation quality.

Example: A 95% segment is included; a 100% segment is not. Several enabled fuzzy-band buttons include their bands together.

Red: Exclude fuzzy 90%. Removes scores from 90% up to, but not including, 100%. For example, a 95% row is excluded while a 100% row can remain. Use it to separate near matches from other stored scores.

Match

Match enabled in the Filters menu.

Shows segments whose stored match score falls between your minimum and maximum, including both limits.

When to use it: Choose a custom score interval instead of the preset bands. Enter the bounds and press Enter, or activate the range with its icon or label.

Example: Set 100 to 102 to inspect exact and context-match scores. Clear any preset fuzzy-band buttons first: active band buttons take precedence over this custom range.

Red: outside the Match range. Excludes scores within your inclusive bounds. For example, red 100–102 leaves a 95% row and excludes a 100% row. Use it to leave that score interval out of the pass. Clear preset bands first and click the red range control again to turn the range off.

Show all segments again

Use the table filter bar’s Clear all to remove its searches, conditions, matching options, automatic result restrictions, and sorting. This restores the rows in the open file or View. It does not open files outside that scope.
