Statistics Productivity tab

Open Dashboard → Statistics → Productivity to examine recorded confirmation work and time in the selected range. These figures do not count every word you typed or every hour spent working for a client.

Summary cards

CardCalculation
WordsSource-word count of qualifying currently confirmed segments whose saved update date falls in the period
TimeRecorded working time in the period
UnitsCount of qualifying confirmed segments, rather than every segment opened or edited
Words/hourQualifying source words divided by tracked hours in the period

The word count uses source text with tracked changes accepted, excluding deleted wording and the information inside tags. If a file has been resegmented, the current working segments are counted once, without also counting the original version.

Confirmed status determines which words count

A saved draft or an AI-generated target does not contribute merely because text appeared. Confirmation is the relevant status for these word and unit figures. This also means confirmed AI-assisted translations can contribute after you confirm them.

Which date and segment status are counted

The word and unit queries inspect current saved segment records and their update dates. They are not a permanent ledger of every editing or approval event.

Later edits, status changes, or a new saved update date can change which period contains a unit or whether it qualifies at all. A count for a past period can therefore change when the underlying work changes.

This differs from the year-long Translation activity grid, which records target-word additions through confirmation activity. Do not expect its total to equal Productivity Words.

Words produced

The horizontal axis shows days, weeks, or months. The vertical axis shows the qualifying confirmed source words in each group.

Use it to compare the amount of confirmed work across the range. The title does not mean every drafted target word, every keystroke, or newly written wording only. Reused translations still involve confirmation work.

Time tracked

This chart shows recorded hours for the chosen days, weeks, or months. Changing grouping does not add hours that were never tracked.

Time tracking depends on active editor work in a project whose status is In progress. It pauses when the page is hidden and after five minutes without detected activity. Time is saved periodically, so a completed working interval can take a short time to appear. These hours do not fully represent work performed outside the tracked workspace, such as research or discussion.

Check project status and active editor context if you expect tracking but time does not increase. The working-time display and details-bar choices are separate from the Statistics date selector.

Words/hour

The summary uses total qualifying words divided by total tracked hours. With 1,200 words and two hours, the result is 600 words/hour. If no time is recorded, words per hour cannot be calculated.

Confirming a large batch after a short recorded interval can produce a high figure. A difficult passage, research, or a different confirmation habit can produce a lower figure. Use the words and time together before drawing a conclusion about work speed.

This measure is different from Overview's Hourly Rate, which is an amount of money per tracked hour.

Productivity by weekday

Each bar or point combines the selected range's qualifying words and tracked time for a weekday, then calculates words per tracked hour. Hover values give the word and time totals behind the rate.

It is a combined ratio for that weekday, rather than an unweighted average of daily rates. Compare the supporting amounts: a weekday with little recorded time has a weaker basis for a general conclusion than one with many hours of work.
