Who is this for?

If you translate documents and want consistency + speed (TM, termbase, QA), Searchspeare is for you.

Core concepts

• Project: the container for one job (files, settings, language pair)
• Segment: the smallest unit you translate (usually a sentence)
• Translation Memory (TM): your reusable translation database
• Termbase / Glossary: approved terminology with constraints (preferred / forbidden)

First run checklist

1. Create a project (follow: Your first project).
2. Import a file.
3. Translate a few segments.
4. Run QA checks.
5. Export the target file.
